Missouri's National Veterans Memorial

Our Adopt A Veteran has been an amazing success and here's proof!

"On this National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we solemnly honor and uphold the memory of the patriots who lost their lives that day 'a date which will live in infamy' and we reflect on the courage of all those who served our Nation with honor in the Second World War."

The Memorial lost two great volunteers this week. David joined us in September 2018 and had over 800 volunteer hours. He was our Ambassador and could be counted on for anything. Many visitors have been introduced to MNVM by David. He was a passionate, generous soul who will be tremendously missed. Bob joined us in June 2019 and had over 200 volunteer hours. He had recently become a tour guide and gave a tour visitors were likely never to forget. Bob was our OSHA Safe...ty Manager and looked forward to every opportunity to volunteer at the Memorial. His excitement and love will be so missed. Our flags will be flown half staff for the next week in honor of these two veterans and volunteers.

We have decided to extend the closure of the Welcome Center and Museum until at least December 17. Remember the grounds and Vietnam Wall are still open 24/7.
