To the cowardly low-life piece of scum who at 10:27 p.m. on 09-22-2021, stole a statue of a soldier kneeling by a cross that has been proudly displayed in front of our company sign and Flags at American Precision Die Casting for years, we have you and your vehicle on surveillance camera and video. I know someone like you would not understand the significance of this statue to American Precision Die Casting and especially the veterans in our company. I would ask that you return the statue as you found it and no questions will be asked. If you have any decency, please return this statue.

In the ongoing and never ending pursuit of continuous improvement at APDC, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for a job well done to one of our dedicated and valued employees, James Levin, who helped proactively solve the potential occurrence of a quality issue that was attributable to a processing concern. As a fundamental tool used in Lean Manufacturing referred to as Poka-Yoke (mistake proofing), James along with supporting assistance in the fabricati...on of the device by two other APDC associates, Josh Copeland and Kevin Anderson, developed a mechanism that would prevent a die casting shot from being positioned on the trim die incorrectly during the trimming operation which if not prevented, could have caused parts to be mis-trimmed resulting in rejectable material and scrap product. In recognition of his efforts directed at the innovative, proactive and preventive approach to address and eliminate the potential of this problem occurring, James was awarded with a $500 cash bonus for this cost saving idea. Presentation of the bonus to James was made by Kevin Hercules, Owner/Partner and Operations Manager for APDC. Great job James Levin and certainly a shout-out to Josh Copeland and Kevin Anderson as well. Another true example at APDC of shop floor ingenuity and Six Sigma Quality initiatives.

A making progress update on the stocking of our APDC Employee Fishing Pond. On September 24th, with the valued help of several of our great employees like Tim Lafferty, Kevin Hercules, Chris Lane, Mark Steele, Steve Cowsert and Tony Matchell, the next phase of stocking our Employee Pond by introducing two types of fish species into the pond was completed. Following the recommendations of the Missouri Department of Conservation for a pond our size, approximately 200 Perch,... 40 Channel Catfish, and 1 Grass Carp were put into the pond. The stocking process will be finished in the Spring of next year with the addition of Large Mouth Bass and then the fun will begin Again, many thanks to all of our fantastic employees who have been an important part of this exciting project of planning and building the APDC Employee Park. So very much appreciated.
