The Cherokee Nation Respond, Recover and Rebuild Disability Assistance Program has been a great success, and thousands have applied. Cherokee Nation Principal C...hief Chuck Hoskin Jr. announced today that we are extending the deadline by one week (to Friday, Nov. 13) and expanding eligibility to include any Cherokee Nation citizen who is a disabled veteran, regardless of where they reside. Again, there is no residency requirement for Cherokee veterans on VA disabilities. More info from Chief Hoskin in the video here, and the application is available at www.cherokee.org.
