Dallas Ackerman Director of Communications and Marketing Liberty PUBLIC SCHOOLS September 24, 2021... Dear Local Veteran, All of us in Liberty Public Schools hope this message finds you doing well! With the beginning of fall and Veterans Day a few weeks away, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your service to our country and for all you continue to contribute to our society. As you likely know, we had to cancel our annual LPS Salute to Veterans Breakfast last year. It was our hope that we would be able to resume this event in 2021, as it is one of our favorites on the calendar. Unfortunately, due to the continuation of the pandemic and subsequent restrictions placed on our facilities, we are going to need to cancel this event again this year. We do want to share with you that we will be producing a Veterans Day Video Special that will be shared in our classrooms and with our community on Thursday, November 11, 2021. We are committed to resuming this event when things return to normal, hopefully as soon as November 2022. In the meantime, never hesitate to connect directly with us if you have any questions or needs. Thank you for your continued support of Liberty Public Schools, and be well! Sincerely, Dallas Ackerman Director of Communications

20 years ago, the world changed forever. Today we reflect on that terrible day and remember all of the lives that have been affected by this horrific attack. Thank you to every veteran who has answered the call of duty to make sure something like this never happens again. #alwaysremember #neverforgotten
