SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT UPDATED INFORMATION REGARDING ALLERGY INJECTION PATIENT PROTOCOL: YES we are STILL following the below protocol put into place 4/6/2020. PLEASE make yourself familiar with our new normal by reading the following information! If you do NOT follow the steps below, you will be turned away for your allergy injection:... 1. ALL allergy shot patients coming into the office must wear a mask or face covering at this time. 2. ALL allergy shot patients MUST call the office for a designated slot! We will only have slots available for 3 patients in a given 20 minute time period. Your designated slots can be scheduled Monday through Thursday. 3. When you arrive in the parking lot, please call the office to let our staff know you’re here and ready. We will instruct you to come inside when it is appropriate. 4. Promptness is appreciated. IF YOU ARE LATE, YOUR SLOT WILL BE GIVEN TO THE NEXT PERSON. 5. The nurse will administer your shot from behind a plastic barrier. You will not be allowed back in the usual shot giving area. PLEASE COME PREPARED IN SHOT ACCESSIBLE CLOTHING. 6. All patients must remain in our waiting room after receiving injections. The waiting room will be marked off (at least 6 feet from another person) to ensure a safe physical distance. 7. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TALKING IN THE WAITING ROOM. It is one of the precautions we are following to minimize any spread of the Coronavirus. If you have a question, you may call and ask while NOT in our waiting room. If you would like to schedule another time slot, please call the office before you come in or after you leave. 8. While the front office staff will not be opening our glass windows, we will accept payments. Please leave your clearly labeled payment on the counter where you used to sign in. If you’d like to know your current balance, you may call the office before your shot time. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE WINDOW YOURSELVES...DO NOT TAP ON IT, WE WILL NOT OPEN IT. AT THIS TIME, DR JOO WILL PRIMARILY CONDUCT PATIENT APPOINTMENTS THROUGH TELEMEDICINE. YOU WILL STILL CALL THE OFFICE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TIME CDC and WHO recommend Telemedicine during this time to deliver healthcare when possible. Dr. Joo will need a smartphone number or email address to have a secure virtual visit with you. You will be able to talk to each other AND be able to see each other! We encourage you to utilize this option to stay on top of prescription refill needs, asthma care, and any other problem visits.
