Please understand that this is either because you had your fees withheld from your refund or you chose a bank product for your refund. The IRS sent the stimulus checks to the bank that funded your refund. Our bank is printing and sending checks daily to the address on file for you! If you have changed your addre...ss since you filed your return, you can call 866-581-1040 to update your address with the bank. This is the number to Republic Bank. They are experiencing a high call volume right now so please just be patient. As always, we are here to assist you with any questions or concerns! With the tax filing deadline being extended to July 15th, we are still open and doing business by appointment!!

Update: If you have already filed a tax return NO you do not need to file anything else. These stimulus returns mentioned are for certain people that wouldn't normally file a tax return due to them not being required to file. I apologize for the misunderstanding in my original post. As everyone has seen, there has been a lot of tax talk in the media with the covid-19 and quarantines and it has caused so much confusion!! I would like to make it very clear that the stimulus has NOT been approved at this time and that the talk of the stimulus is only proposals and negotiations at this time!! I want to update on a previous comment on my last post. The IRS just stated about half an hour ago that the deadline to file and pay your taxes have now both been exte...nded to July 20, 2020. I’ve posted the link in the comments!! If you still feel the need to file an extension, we are happy to file ALL extensions AT NO COST!! If you are expecting a refund, no extension is necessary!! ** UPDATE** The IRS has now stated that the deadline to file and pay your taxes have both been extended to July 15, 2020. I have pasted the link in the comments!! I’ve had many people ask about the stimulus checks. Nothing has been finalized yet but from what I’ve read on it thus far is that they will be calculating the amount based on your 2018 tax return! You could qualify for up to $1200 ($2400 if married filing jointly) and $500 per qualifying child. If you did not file ...a 2018 tax return, they will calculate the amount based on your 2019 tax return! The amount of this stimulus is still under discussion as well as how and when they will be released! Whether it will be a direct deposit or check sent to taxpayers last known address. If you have not filed a 2018 or 2019 tax return, give us a call so we can get it taken care of for you!!
