The littlest member of our family on our biggest horse. Emma rode Clooney tonight.

AK Equine 11.03.2021

Clooney (4 year old Holsteiner/TB) went on his first trail ride this evening! He was a superstar and better behaved than ol' Bug when the herd of horses came running through the field! He's an old soul and is going to make someone a nice, quiet riding horse.

Winsome Lady AK 2020 black Hanoverian filly Werbellin x Sable CR (Stedinger/Sion/Contender) "Winnie" is just about the sweetest foal we've ever had. She has a gorgeous head and expression and has a wonderful people-friendly personality. At her Hanoverian inspection, she took Top Foal honors at only 12 days old. ... Her sire, Werbellin, was a Class #1 German Celle State Stud and had a long career as a dressage horse after coming to the States. In Germany, he was also a successful young jumper. Under Christopher Hickey's training, Werbellin was a successful Grand Prix dressage horse until retiring sound to be a schoolmaster until his passing. He was a true, all-around athlete. Winnie's dam, Sable CR, was a competitive hunter until a pasture injury sidelined her and she became a broodmare. She's had several quality offspring and Winnie is adding to that list! This beautiful black filly could be the next superstar! https://youtu.be/Oy2DsbrY3Ak

Royal Kodachrome AK 2020 Hanoverian colt Royal Prinz x EM Wanjana (Wanderkoenig/Salvano/Espri) "Kodak" has an undeniable presence and an incredible people-friendly personality! With both his parents being successful dressage competitors, his genes alone point to FEI potential. He has fantastic bone, a refined and beautiful head and neck, a powerful hind end and CHROME to get you noticed in the ring! ... Kodak's sire, Royal Prinz, has had a long, successful FEI career and is stamping his offspring regularly with an elegant head and neck as well as freedom of the shoulder. Wanjana, Kodak's dam, was a successful 4th level dressage horse for her amateur owner, and was schooling PSG prior to a pasture injury. Wanjana's first foal, a 2014 filly by Devon Heir, tied for champion in her mare inspection at Hilltop Farms in Maryland last year. Her other foals from 2018 and 2019 are also looking to be successful prospects for the dressage ring. This gorgeous boy could be a future dressage star! https://youtu.be/qm8qFuz6064
