On Feb. 21, Omega Nu Omega chapters members shared some quality sisterly bonding while focusing on our international organization’s Target 4: The Arts. Members watched an exclusive showing of the dynamic and acclaimed stringed duo-Black Violin. Having a few string performers in our chapter membership, it was especially rich to get their perspective on the performance. Charter member Portia, also a jazz violinist stated, I love the way they they took the classics and made them their own. ONO held our annual Pink Goes Red activity for heart health awareness on Feb. 13! Sorors and friends moved to the rhythm of great music during a fun-filled & heart healthy Zumba session! Omega Nu Omega members participated in our joint Mid-Western Region AKA Day at the Capital today. Black women in political positions around our six state region shared insight and powerful nuggets helping to raise our political IQ’s. We are especially proud of our ONO members, Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw and Dorothy McClendon, Founder of Madam for America-who both poured into our region!
