As we enter into the last week of 2020, our heart is full of gratitude We are so grateful for all of our partners. For the many prayers prayed, the gifts given, and the continued encouragement so often offered! We wouldn't want to do this with any other team. Thanks for being a part of the Africa House. We love and appreciate you all!

Christmas in Africa offers a unique opportunity to our teams, as they celebrate the birth of Jesus with their families and friends. For the local church in Africa, it's a time of reflection and celebration - but also a time to share the incredible story of Christmas with family members who have yet to make Jesus their Lord and savior. For the teams among the unreached, it's a time of inviting the lost into their homes, sharing a meal, and sharing the story of Christmas with ...them - maybe for the first time! Pray that in all of the situations, hearts would be open and the sweet presence of Jesus would transform lives!

10 years ago, there was a thriving team working in Sudan. One day, that all changed without warning. Since that day, there hasn't been an open door into a dry land thirsting for the living water. This week, we have a team meeting with the government of Sudan to apply for registration of the Assemblies of God so we can start an International Church. The door is opening! For the next five days, we will be posting a daily prayer focus for the team as they have meetings. Will yo...u join us in agreeing for an open door to the country of Sudan? Today marks day #1. Pray with us for the presence of the Holy Spirit in every meeting the team has! May the Holy Spirit guide conversation and direct the decisions of government leaders. Tomorrow, our East Africa team is getting together for a time of refilling and seeking the Lord together. Pray for them over these next few days. Pray for vision to be rooted in the hearts of team members. ... Pray for renewed strength, energy and creativity! Pray for a fresh anointing. May the Lord meet them as they seek Him! May His glory continue to be known in Africa through those who are responding to the call.

In many churches across Africa, children are preparing a special Christmas presentation for their families Many times relatives will come to this special service, even if they don’t regularly attend church. Pray God uses these children to share the amazing story of Jesus with family and friends that don’t yet know Jesus as their savior
