Legends say that the ball is still in flight to this day. Seriously though. Swing needs work getting up to #longdrive speed and power. But I was landing 1/4 in the grid.

Sometimes load can be more about instruction than resistance. This is a fail neck surgery case. Where a fusion was performed at C5/6 but they damaged the nerves adjacent in the process. Pain lingered as well. They tell her she’s a candidate for fusion below that segment but as you can imagine she’s not too interested. We started with centralizing pain using MDT, which worked very well, but as is common it flat lined, so we progressed. We’re training deep spine stabilization in DNS 3 month prone. The band helps her to feel support vs reclination of the head. Cue was to lift, but low enough to not even pull the hair away fully.

Some people a just more bendy than others. This is a genetic trait known as benign hypermobility. Collagen is the most prominent protein in our bodies, and how your DNA codes for it and other proteins can impact your level of natural mobility. This population, about 10% of Americans, has more pliable connective tissues than I do. Their treatments needs to be more geared towards a healthy amount of stiffening in the joints. https://advancedsjc.com/hypermobile-patients/

It’s hard to see here, but there’s a reason she’s not wearing her mask. We are training jaw stabilization. Specifically luxation when she opens past a point. Her pains improved, the range prior to luxations increased, just not enough. We started performing our mouth opening drills in a position of increased stability demands, #DNS bear position. She did great and I expect her to continue to improve.
