Here’s to a safe, enjoyable holiday weekend, while remembering our fallen heroes who made it possible to live in the land of the free.

Temps will be falling over the next few days. To help avoid freezing pipes, take a few minutes to make sure water hoses are disconnected from outside hook-ups. Also, it’s strongly recommended to let faucets drip slowly especially if the plumbing is on an exterior wall. (Opening cabinet doors will also help with freezing pipes). As far as heating your home or business, we suggest bumping your thermostat up 2-3 degrees above the normal setting. It’s also a great idea to change out your furnace filters to help take a little bit of the load off the furnace. If you need to use space heaters or other methods for supplementing heat, please be careful! Try to use heaters that have built in safety options and inspect all power cords thoroughly.
