Many courts and schools are closed in Southeast Missouri due to the icy roads. For the safety of our staff, our Cape Girardeau and East Prairie offices will be closed Thursday, February 11. Please stay warm and safe if you are forced to be out on the roads, and check back on this page for updates.

It’s getting slick out there, Cape Girardeau! There are numerous car wrecks already reported so we are closing the office and canceling the remainder of our appointments for today. Please stay off the roads and if you must travel drive slow and be extra cautious. We will do our best to answer all inquiries as we work remotely the remainder of the day but please be patient if we don’t get back to you immediately. Stay safe and we will see you tomorrow.

We realize 2020 has been challenging for our friends and clients, and are very much looking forward to 2021. Exciting news coming early next week!

The new windows at the office are installed and the guys are finishing up the cosmetic details inside over the next week. Although our new physical office will be functionally open May 15, we will not formally open to the public until a later date due to ongoing social distancing efforts in response to the Covid pandemic. We know these are strange times, and we look forward to meeting clients in-person at the new physical space soon. However, we continue to offer all of our services remotely. Thank you again to all of our friends, family, and clients for the ongoing support as we navigate these uncertain times together. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and look forward to seeing you in person soon!

Our office remains open and functional during the recently-announced closures. We are able to continue to assist our clients by way of phone conferences, email, and home/office visits and are set up to operate remotely as we wait for this to pass. We are inching closer to our new office being open. As you might have seen yesterday, eastbound on Broadway was shut down so the city could move around the new water meterssorry about that. The new concrete entrances and new storefront should be going in early next week. The inside is much further along and we are currently moving our office equipment in. Gutting and putting a historic building back together takes time, but we assure you it’ll be worth it. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the transition. Very grateful to ring in the new year with one of our favorite friends and clients John Cai. John's restaurant, China Palace Cape Girardeau has been a staple for quality Chinese food in Cape Girardeau for many years -- but the best part of this place is the warmth and hospitality John and his family show to every guest that comes in. In celebration of the new year, we were fortunate to enjoy some traditional pig's feet, duck, and rice cakes in addition to the normal buffet items. If you haven't been to China Palace before -- be sure to stop by for lunch or dinner. I recommend the house chicken (can be made extra spicy) -- with a healthy dose of friendly conversation from John. Thanks again!
