A Creative Start Learning Centers

The Zoo Lady came today sharing Dr. Who the Screech Owl and Charlie the Chinchilla. All the children got to watch Charlie the Chinchilla take a dust bath rolling all around and they also got to feel how soft his fur was. Dr. Who the owl flapped his wings and the children got to listen to the different whoots, different owls make. They definitely enjoyed making the owl noises!

We celebrated our Fabulous February birthdays today at Division! Happy birthday to Ms. Ericka and Ms. Rachelle!!

We would like to Thank Mr. Hill for the Amazing cupcakes!! They we're such a Fabulous treat!!

We will be open normal hours Monday February 15, 2021. It is going to be bitterly cold with Snow on and off throughout the day so please watch your step, the ground is going to be slick. We had the parking lots plowed, but with the wind blowing so much and hard, it not staying clear. Be safe out there!!!

Today is Ms. Cat's last day with ACSLC-LARK. She has been an amazing asset to our Preschool program and will greatly be missed! We can not thank her enough for all her hard work and being truly a fantastic person! We will miss you Ms. Cat and best of luck in all you do!!

In October we got to celebrate Ms. Alice's Birthday. Today we Celebrate you on your favorite holiday! Happy Birthday Ms. Alice!!

Ms. Sarah's 3 year old Class went to Rutledge-Wilson Farm braving the cold wind and rain. They got to hear the story Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper and pet Firefly the 15 year old miniature horse. Next, was inside the barn to see the goats, sheep, donkeys, and kitty cats. Due to the rain, we did not get to go on a hayride or enter into the pumpkin patch, so the children settled for McDonald's Happy Meals for lunch.

The Dickerson Park Zoo came by today and spoke about the importance of water and brought a Chinese Toad and a Bearded Dragon. The children got to see the difference of their skins textures dry and moist and how they intake water.

ACSLC has some Amazing ladies who really know how to spoil their bosses. Thank you all for making "Boss's Day" Fabulous! JG

Division had lots of fun and caught a lot of fish today!!

Our first field trip at Rutledge Wilson Farm with the kids at Division was a success!! Looking forward to lots more fun tomorrow too!!

Today our Division Center has been open for 10 years 2010-2020. We have been very Blessed to serve the Springfield and surrounding communities and provide childcare to over 700 families. A huge Thank You to our families and staff for these Blessed Years may there be many more!

Today we celebrate these beautiful ladies September Birthdays Ms. Gina, Ms. Cindy and Ms. Lita. Our Infant Toddler Unit is so Blessed to have these loving ladies caring for the children.

What an AMAZING day at Country Roads Family Fun Farm! The weather was absolutely perfect! The children got to enjoy a Hayride throughout the farm. Along the way we stopped to see how pumpkins were grown, boy and girl plants, Sunflower fields and how the grow seeds, we played in the hay with hay swings and slides, went on a train and animal train ride, had a picnic lunch and got to pet a pot belly pig, emu, miniature donkeys and goats. They staff at Country Roads are absolutely great and made our field trip awesome!

Somethings in life are worth waiting for! For these girls it was Uncle Buddy’s cheesecakes. Happy super belated Birthday to Miss Kim and Miss Morrisa!
