Achieving Your Best 08.04.2021

Motivation Monday! We just have to share Pam's story-she has been working hard and it has paid off! Here is her story in her words: Strength training and proper nutrition has effected me in more ways than I realized. Years ago (maybe 15 or 20) I was diagnosed with osteopenia and was given a prescription. It did improve. A recent bone scan showed a remarkable increase in my bone density. My bones were "a little less than a 20 year old"! Wow, this 65 year old will take young bones! The only thing I have done consistently is strength training and improving my nutrition. AYB truly is about achieving YOUR best. It is important to me to continue to always be stronger, active (I want to be a fun grandma) and to live independently as I age. I keep telling myself, just do what they tell me to do. It is that simple! -Pam Olson

A huge congrats to our AYB athlete Michael Jasinski for this past weekend at his State Championship Swim meet! He won the 100m freestyle, took 2nd in the 200m freestyle, and he and his team won the 200m and 400m freestyle relays!
