World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated every year on March 21st because individuals with Down syndrome are unique and have three copies of the 21st chromosome. We want to give a shout out to a local, amazing organization, The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City. They are a non-profit organization that strives to provide quality services to individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the KC metro.
