The RTN or Regional Transition Network that Access II is a part of, worked last week to pack goodie bags for teachers and students participating in the virtual Transition Skills Day event taking place this week. The event is specifically designed for high school students with disabilities to help them learn skills needed to be successful in the workplace. The RTN is truly a collaborative effort of multiple organizations who are working together to help students with disabilities transition successfuly after high school! We are hoping the students are learning a lot this week! Our friends over at Missouri Assistive Technology have a new micro loan program for low cost DME and AT, and have helped several missourians purchase things like: Refurbished scooters Refurbished heavy duty power chairs... Home automation with smart plugs and an Amazon Echo. Many of our consumers are on a tight budget and a micro loan through Missouri Assistive Technology offers a lower monthly payment. If you need to borrow under $500, check them out to see if they can assist you in getting what you need for a low monthly payment. https://at.mo.gov/show-me-loans/Micro-Loan.html
