To the Community of Aurora, I would like to start this letter by saying thank you to the community of Aurora for your continued support of our business the pas...t 28 years. More importantly, we would like to thank our family and our children, Brett and Megan, and our future son-in-law Aaron for being our biggest supporters through this process. I know it was difficult witnessing what we went through on Tuesday evening, but they know we are resilient. As I have always told my children there is only one thing you can control...and that is yourself! Bruce and I have spent the past few days reflecting on the events from Tuesday night. Sometimes government bodies and boards are limited by their lack of knowledge, information or power to make change happen. However, they must be open minded and be willing to listen, and not have an agenda. A comprehensive plan or master plan must be revisited periodically to determine if it is in the best interest of the community and will provide sound economic development. We hope that through this process that the plan will be revisited and amended as necessary. We want you all to know that we appreciate all of the positive comments in support of our business. However, this is not the time to divide the community but to come together to initiate change. As I stated earlier, this is a process and we are through the first step of this process, so this is only the beginning. As we journey through the next steps we ask for your continued support. Regardless of the outcome, we will find a use for that lot. Thank you again Aurora! Bruce and Stephanie Heman

As Ireland Architects, Inc. celebrates its th in business, I will be sharing the progression of the business. In 2006. I was honored to be awarded Arch...itect of the Year by the Springfield Contractors Association for The Kitchen, Inc’s clinic remodel design. The Kitchen, Inc. is an organization in Springfield, MO that helps the homeless get back on their feet by providing housing and teaching skills to maintain that housing on their own. There was such a WHOLE PROJECT synthesis a helping each other attitude. From General Contractor to sub-contractor to the Design Team it was an AMAZING experience for all!! I was very honored to be involved and to be awarded this gift! See more

COMING SOON First, a big THANK YOU to Stephanie Ireland, the CEO/Principal Architect of Ireland Architects. Together, we have created a preliminary site plan for the future home of A-2-Z Glass, located at 1214 S Elliott Street in Aurora! The new A-2-Z Glass building will be brick front, feature two front facing office suites, and two side-facing garage bays for in-shop repair/replacement services. ... We are excited to be constructing a beautiful building that will enhance the look and feel of Elliott Street. Again, thank you Aurora for a great 28 years of building a business, raising a family, and knowing a lot of great people along the way! More to come!
