UPDATE!!! I have some clients that had their refunds sent direct deposit that received their stimulus. I'm assuming it's only the Walmart card and paper check clients that are waiting on a check. If you got the message that your money was sent to an account but didn't get it, then you're getting checks. The banks rejected the payments, so the irs has to issue paper checks. ... If you can't update your direct deposit online, then be expecting a check. Expect your refund in the mail in 7-10 business days. PSA tax clients! I just spoke to TPG Bank about the stimulus checks. All I can say is PLEASE BE PATIENT... They decided not to process them at all. You all will receive checks from the IRS. If its accidentally sent to TPG they are rejecting them. This decision was made late yesterday so I'm just now relaying the message. If you want yours direct deposit... Go to www.irs.gov caronarelief. TPG # is: 1 (800) 901-6663....please call them with any further questions. I have NO CONTROL over the stimulus checks, and how they will be disbursed.
