***POLICY UPDATE*** --- After much debate on how to do this, the 816 Bike Collective has decided to open in a super limited capacity. We're doing this because we serve the people who don't have support, and while we don't think people should be out, it is our people who may not have a choice. READ CAREFULLY: --- Only road worthy emergency repairs... No donations No new volunteers Sidewalk repair only (no browsing) No bike sales (sorry) --- If you fall under these guidelines, we will politely ask you to leave. We have had a lot of interest in volunteering lately, and while we appreciate this the best thing you can do is stay home. Honestly, we hope no one needs our help at all today, but if you do, we'll be there. We will be wearing protective gear and sanitizing regularly. --- Thurs: 3-6 Sat: 12-5 See more

We are taking this seriously, and we hope you are too. While cycling might be healthy, it doesn't exempt us from this virus. Please be mindful of those who are most vulnerable and limit contact with others. These times are strange, but you can still ride your bike.

It’s supposed to freeze overnight and throughout tomorrow so we’ve decided to put a hold on our shop hours. We’ll plan to see you all again next Thursday and every subsequent Saturday barring inclement weather. Slide safe!

We'll be closed today, Saturday Jan. 12, due to the weather. No use getting on the roads if you don't have to. But travel safe if you must!

What a blast! I'm not even going to try to mention everyone who made last evening an amazing night, because that would be too many people. This celebration marks the beginning of a never ending cycle. We're here and we're here to stay. We'll now be open Thursday 3-6pm and Saturday 12-5pm. Expect to see our hours expand down the road.
