Im no mathematician (anything but that really) but according to those who are, a miracle is often defined as being one in a million, and if your trying to play the lottery, the odds are a lot higher then that. So calculate this for a second: what do you think the odds are of sickness going away on its own? What are the odds of progressive disease all of a sudden vanishing without a trace? If your answer is one in a million, let me throw in a variable: it depends on who you kn...ow. We know Jesus tells us to heal the sick using kingdom authority, and what’s more, the statements made never put the odds higher than 1 to 1. You believe for healing? You expect it and receive it. Today I want to pray for healing in our 7Miles and I already know there’s a lot of prayer needs out there. But remember, don’t approach healing thinking your odds are one in a million. We had some crazy wind last night! I seriously thought the house was gonna blow in a few times. Also crazy was that we found a couple wasps in the house last night! I’m betting they were trying desperately to get out of that wind storm. No matter the reason, I found it interesting that this small creature that was made to fly was helplessly being carried away by a force much stronger than itself. The point is that we’re often like that wasp, fighting against what God has for us. I for one don’t wanna fight that. So let’s pray for God to send an Extreme Increase of His Presence in our 7Miles today, and also, let’s pray that we wouldn’t resist His move but rather be caught up in what He’s doing. Fighting against Him is useless and I for one don’t wanna be stuck resisting like a wasp in the wind.

In 1 Kings 8, we read something very interesting, the people started sacrificing so much that they literally lost count. Now that might not seem that crazy, but in a few other passages, they recorded numbers like 22,000 on up. What’s also interesting is what happened after this event. God showed up in such an amazingly tangible way that the priests couldn’t enter the temple! If I could summarize the event, it would be this: witness an uneven exchange of biblical proportion. W...hat I mean is, the people gave everything (which eternally was very little), and God gave right back except what He gave was far superior. He gave an over abundance of Himself. Today, I want to pray for an extreme increase of His Presence in our 7Miles but also that the Holy Spirit would make us aware of people and situations in our path that desperately need the help of His overwhelming Presence. They, just as much as anyone, are in need of an uneven exchange. See more

You know what I’ve always appreciated about the story of the woman who grabbed the hem of Jesus’ garment? I really like the faith connection she makes. There was never doubt in her as she grabbed for his cloak. There was no, I wonder if this will work? The only thing she had was faith and when her faith connected with Him, Jesus immediately knew what had happened. Today, I want to pray for healing in our 7Miles, and whether it’s you or someone else who needs healing, reach out with that faith connection and be healed!

There used to be this show on (it may still be) where they would take old antiques in rough shape and completely restore them. And the people on the show would go, wow! It looks brand new! But there’s a problem. Just because it may look new, that doesn’t mean it has changed what it is, an old antique. Thankfully, God doesn’t work like that. When we pray for healing, His response is to make all things new! So as we pray for healing in our 7Miles today, grab hold of the promise and expect that the God who isn’t satisfied just fixing things is making all things new in you today!
