NW 64th Street Butterfly Garden

Butterfly garden maintenance scheduled for today, Tuesday, July 7 at 5:30 p.m. is CANCELED. Next session planned for July 21 at 7:00 p.m.

Here was the garden being planted in 2015 thanks to a grant from Platte County. It was a joint effort between the Platte Land Trust, Missouri Master Naturalists, Parkville and Platte county. Many community members have helped with the installation, planning and maintainence of the garden.

A few pictures from our last workday. The lanceleaf coreopsis was in full bloom and we found our first monarch caterpillar of the season.
