Support comes in many forms such as makeup classes, gas cards, wigs, exercise classes, letters, and even full payment of treatment. Donate to research initiatives. It's important to find charities that are trying to get to an actua...l cure for patients, not just to the idea of awareness. Help out someone you know who has cancer. Don't just ask how you can help; tell them how you plan to. Walk their dog, drive their kids to activities, clean their bathrooms, pick up groceries. Listen to cancer patients. Not everyone necessarily feels like a warrior or survivor all of the time. Tell them you are sorry this has happened to them and that you are here to listen. Let them know they are not isolated.
