When I first got married, I felt the responsibility for taking care of our home. I swept and cleaned and mopped until I dropped. Why? Unrealistic expectations. I thought my husband expected me to keep things spic and span. After several years of trying to keep up I found out that wasn’t at all what he expected. A little dust can be overlooked, but we both like things organized. There are some practical things that can provide support to your well-being. Which one comes easy for you? Create and stick to a budget. Organize your home and/or workspace. Establish healthy work boundaries

Growing up in church I knew that this part of my life could not be ignored, but what I find is that it is almost always the first area to suffer if I’m not careful. Though my time in God’s Word has looked different from time to time it’s an important factor in keeping myself balanced. What are you currently doing to stay in connection with God? Know what you believe. Read the Bible and other books on spirituality. Pray. Seek community.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? I tend to be an extroverted introvert. I love people. I am energized by people yet there are times when I need to withdraw and recharge alone. There is a need to be aware of what type of social situations best fill your tank. Get the amount of social interaction that you need. Create good boundaries. Work on developing new friendships and deepening old ones.
