Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. This was over 2 years AFTER President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation signed on January 1, 1863. General Granger's troops were finally able to enforce the legislation on this day. Adding a cloth flag here for a drill to increase power. The flag produces additional resistance and unpredictability to the swing. Arm care is a priority for us and it should be a major element of any throwing program for you. Pitchers interested in safely adding velo should use a band program alongside their strength and conditioning program. A regular band routine is good for pitchers and non-pitchers alike and works in- and off-season to strengthen rotator cuff muscles.
