The Owens-Rogers museum is closed for the season, but we are transforming it into a short -term rental (airbnb) for the fall and winter and it will be open soon for business. I think people will enjoy spending the night in the house where Ginger Rogers was born! In the spring, we'll be open for tours again.

The 1898 Beazley Market at the corner of Moore and Main was transformed into a house in the 1960's. We are currently nearly finished renovating the front part of the duplex. This sits right across the street from the Owens-Rogers Museum where Ginger Rogers was born. Photos show the market under construction, the market in the 1920's with the owners sitting on the front steps (note the old gas pump) the house during renovation and after. How times have changed!
