FULLLLLLNESSSSSS . This chicky has long hair and lots of it! . But by the time you get to the ends of her hair it was getting spindly and lacked the density she... wished for. . I added just one row of #naturalbeadedrows to her locks and ! . It filled in her sparse spots and will hold its style soooo much better for her! . We officially start week 4 today! Seems crazy that we sat at home for 6 weeks and we've already been back 3! Things are going well. We are keeping our spirits light and out vibes high. We look forward to seeing all of you!... The one thing we can't get away from; EVERYTHING is taking more time. Two inches of regrowth and lots of faded out ends means doing corrective color on nearly every client. No hair goes untouched....but the end result is so BEAUTIFUL! I know what you’re thinking . . WHEN IS SHE GOING TO GET ME BACK ON HER SCHEDULE? .... . I hear you and I see you. . . I just finished day 2 of being back to work. . . I was apprehensive about scheduling beyond this week as I was totally unsure how timing would go having to sanitize and disinfect EVERY. SINGLE. THING. between clients. . . I’ve learned two things; . 1. Everyone’s hair needs a little (or a lot) more work- most have gone 2x their regularly scheduled maintenance time. . 2. Sanitizing and disinfecting isn’t taking that much time since the solution I’m using only has to stay saturated for 3 minutes. . . I feel like I have a better grip on what to expect and I’m diving into my list! . . A whole new . . As we prepare for reopening we want to share with you how important your safety is to us, as well as ours. .... . Things will definitely not resemble our definition of normal any time soon..... . . We will not be seeing as many guests per day as we use to. . . We will be scheduling more time per guest in order to properly sanitize and disinfect the studio between appointments. . . We will require face masks to be worn by us, and our guests. . . We ask that you remain in your car until your appointment time- we must clean and disinfect all surfaces before you come in. . . All waiting area furniture will be removed as we cannot clean or disinfect soft surfaces. . . All magazines will also be removed. Please feel free to bring your own entertainment. . . We cannot allow anyone in the salon that isn’t being provided a service. This includes children, friends and family members. . Please come to your appointment alone. . . I hate even having to write this next part, as it’s common sense....but here you go: If you have a Fever Cough Been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms Living with anyone who is sick or quarantined . PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL and reschedule your appointment. . . If we see any signs of sickness we will ask you to leave. . . We are doing our best to do OUR PART in the battle with Covid 19. . . We are working hard to get everyone back on the schedule. . . If you haven’t heard from us yet, you will. . . It’s an overwhelming task when you’re 6 weeks behind. . . Even more difficult when hours aren’t endless, and the workload of complete disinfection of all surfaces between guests, is a must. . . We look forward to seeing you again soon

JUST ANNOUNCED TODAY Parkville and Platte County announce May 4th as the new reopening date. Dear Aura Hair Studio guests, ... January, Taylor and Kami will be meeting tomorrow morning to begin rescheduling appointments and formulating a plan to best accommodate our guests, while still keeping everyone safe. You will receive calls, texts and/or emails from us in regards to getting everyone back in our chairs, to make your hair beautiful again! Please be patient with us as we take on the overwhelming task of rescheduling 6 weeks worth of clients. Know that we are doing our best to get you in as quickly as possible.
