We had a great time at the Grain Valley Schools' Eagle Golf Tournament Fundraiser last week! Our team's 8 under was far from the 21 under par winning score, we had a lot of fun playing and supporting their work in City of Grain Valley, Missouri. It's National Boss's Day and we're pretty sure ours is the tops! Our President & CEO Phil Hanson is a true leader, on our team and in our community. In his 10 years with Truman Heartland, Phil has been instrumental in expanding our network of fundholders and building partnerships across the region that help strengthen our community. Although we won't be sharing treats or high fives (thanks, COVID), we are thrilled to share our gratitude for Phil on this day. Happy Boss's Day, Phillip!

Meet the 5 new CNAs graduating from University of Central Missouri with support from the Job Skills for New Careers initiative! Thanks to our Job Skills partnership with Community Services League, University of Central Missouri and Mid-Continent Public Library the graduates received full scholarships to complete their CNA training and were hired by John Knox Village. This innovative approach allowed the students to meet the program's clinical requirements while adhering to C...OVID restrictions and ensured a job after graduation. Congrats to all of the graduates!
