Check out this great conversation between our friend Monica at Coldwater of Lee's Summit and Link 2 Lee's Summit. Coldwater does so much for our Lee's Summit community and we are thrilled that they are one of the beneficiaries of Feed Lee's Summit 2020!, Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary's Virtual Gala.

We had a great time at the Grain Valley Schools' Eagle Golf Tournament Fundraiser last week! Our team's 8 under was far from the 21 under par winning score, we had a lot of fun playing and supporting their work in City of Grain Valley, Missouri. Truman Heartland was proud to serve as a hole sponsor for this event.

It's National Boss's Day and we're pretty sure ours is the tops! Our President & CEO Phil Hanson is a true leader, on our team and in our community. In his 10 years with Truman Heartland, Phil has been instrumental in expanding our network of fundholders and building partnerships across the region that help strengthen our community. Although we won't be sharing treats or high fives (thanks, COVID), we are thrilled to share our gratitude for Phil on this day. Happy Boss's Day, Phillip!

Meet the 5 new CNAs graduating from University of Central Missouri with support from the Job Skills for New Careers initiative! Thanks to our Job Skills partnership with Community Services League, University of Central Missouri and Mid-Continent Public Library the graduates received full scholarships to complete their CNA training and were hired by John Knox Village. This innovative approach allowed the students to meet the program's clinical requirements while adhering to C...OVID restrictions and ensured a job after graduation. Congrats to all of the graduates! We value your drive and determination to make a difference in our community. We are still reeling from the outpouring of generosity for this year's Toast to Our Towns Gala. Thank you to all of our sponsors! Your continued support made this event a success and a night of celebration for our honorees. When we switched to a virtual format in June, we were worried that we'd lose some of our sponsors. But every single sponsor stuck with us and we gained an amazing number of Watch Party and Friends sponsors. Thank you!...
