Each year, Steve Thomas along with the Shelter Insurance Foundation, awards one deserving high school senior from Webb City and one from Carl Junction with a $2000 scholarship to be used to further their education. Applications are generally available to each school’s counseling department beginning in January. It is such a rewarding way for us to give back to the community we live and work in. This year’s recipient from Carl Junction was Gracie Smith (as seen in the photo). The recipient from Webb City was Alli Storm. We wish both of these ladies much success as they further their education and chase their dreams!
