Southern Missouri ENT & Allergy is excited to announce that we are beginning Phase 1 for seeing patients within the clinic, as we also continue to monitor the COVID19 situation in the area. We understand patients have been waiting for medical care and need to receive treatment. Our goal is to provide safe ENT & Allergy care to those in need. Southern Missouri ENT & Allergy will be operating at a reduced schedule following CDC and CMS guidelines and recommendations. Staff wil...l be sanitizing the office regularly throughout the day. Patients are asked to wear a mask to all appointments within our office. All staff will also be wearing masks and screened daily. We will continue to screen all patients upon making appointments, as well as upon arrival including temperatures. Visitors will not be allowed in our facility with patients, unless there is a medical need or the patient is a minor. Some surgeries are also now being allowed at West Plains Ambulatory Surgery Center and Ozarks Medical Center. Allergy injections will continue to be Mondays and Fridays drive up only. Telehealth visits will be provided and recommended for many conditions. We are so thankful for our medical community, patients, and staff. We look forward to providing excellent ENT service for you!

Allergy Shot Patients: For next week, April 20-24 we will continue with drive up injections to keep the waiting room traffic as low as possible. Allergy injections will be available Monday and Friday 8-11:30 AM and 1-4:30 PM. We appreciate you calling in when you arrive and staying the recommended 20 minutes. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe while continuing your medical therapy!! We have the best patients!!

Allergy symptoms are definitely on the rise. Tree pollen is soaring today! If you are experiencing allergy symptoms, but want to stay home, contact us for a telemedicine visit. This helps to get you first in line for allergy testing when we resume. Many other appointments are also available via telemedicine. To schedule an appointment, call 417-255-1373.

ALLERGY SHOT PATIENTS: For next week, injections will only be available April 16 & 17 (Thursday & Friday) 8-11:30 and 1-4:30. We will continue to do drive up only for shot patients next week. If you have any questions, please call us at 417-255-1373.

CURRENT ALLERGY SHOT PATIENTS: To decrease the amount of patients in our waiting room, decrease COVID risks, and help continue allergy treatment, Southern Missouri ENT & Allergy will offer drive up allergy injections beginning NEXT WEEK, April 6th. Allergy shots will be offered only Mondays 7:30-11:30 & 1:00-4:30 and Fridays 7:30-11:30 & 1:00-2:30. To receive your injection(s), please call the office to obtain directions on the process. There is no need to enter the office and injections will only be given as drive up at this time. If you have any questions, please call us at 417-255-1373. If you have a recent fever, cough, or travelled to a COVID hot spot, you must wait 2 weeks to receive an injection. Note: This is the current plan. COVID-19 UPDATE: Southern Missouri ENT & Allergy continues to follow CDC and American Academy of Otolaryngology guidelines. Recent guidelines recommend ENT physicians only provide urgent or emergent ENT care in the office. Dr. Jeffrey Hull, MD and Kirstie Recktenwald, NP will be available for Telemedicine visits beginning tomorrow. Some conditions will not allow for telemedicine due to the need for special equipment. We will continue to provide time-sensitive urgent ENT ca...re as needed for our community. Our staff has been trained to triage for urgent care. All Allergy tests and weekly injections have been placed on hold. Julie Davis, LPN will be in contact with allergy patients when we are able to resume. COVID 19 UPDATE Southern Missouri ENT & Allergy remains open. Some changes you will see as requested by the CDC for medical clinics are listed below: 1) Adult patients are not allowed any visitors for appointments (unless medically required). 2) Pediatric patients (18 & under) are allowed one adult for appointments. 3) Waiting room chairs are placed 3-6 feet apart for you safety. Please do not move them. Toys and magazines have been removed as well. ... 4) Patients will be screened when appointments are made. 5) Patients will be screened upon entry to our office. 6) Patients with COVID 19 symptoms will be placed in a private waiting area or asked to wait in vehicle for appointment.
