Be cautious if you may be outside for long periods of time, protect your pets and keep them inside, make sure you have plenty of gasoline in your car and please... don't warm up your car with the keys inside or the car not being locked-at home or for a short visit inside any business. It is better to be inconvenienced for a short time having to drive or ride in a cold car than having the car stolen and not having the car! Please be safe.

Officer Misher is one of our many officers on campus who keep us safe every day. During the pandemic, they've taken on many other responsibilities as well. We want to thank our wonderful DPS officers for all they do!
The safest way to celebrate the winter holidays during the pandemic is to celebrate at home with people who live with you. But, if you are traveling, welcoming ...college students home or having guests stay for the holidays, the CDC offers suggestions on steps to take to minimize risk including the following: *Ask guests to get a viral COVID-19 test 1-3 days before their trip. Postpone the visit if the test is positive. *Wear masks inside the house. Remove only for eating, drinking and sleeping. *Wash hands regularly, especially when arriving. *Stay at least 6 feet from each other at all times. *Improve ventilation by opening windows and doors or by placing central air and heating on continuous circulation. More great tips are located at cdc.gov/coronavirus. We urge you to read them prior to your celebration. Extraordinary times. Extraordinary people.
