Laurel Hills Elementary School 14.05.2022

This evening the district hosted the annual Retirement Celebration, honoring staff who will retire at the conclusion of the school year. Laurel Hills celebrates one retiree this year. Mrs. Pam Holderness, Title 1 Reading IA, will retire at the end of 2021-2022. This evening she rang the school bell one last time. We thank Mrs. Holderness for all she’s done for our Leopards! #SpottedAtLaurel

These Leopards are BLAST-ing off with bikes! As part of a partnership with BikeWalkKC, students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade are participating in BLAST - Bicycle Lessons And Safety Training! Students are learning bike safety and handling skills. #SpottedAtLaurel

On Thursday, Laurel Hills hosted Math & ELA Night. Families enjoyed math games in classrooms, a snack from PTA, and played Bingo for Books! We had a wonderful turnout. Thanks for being #SpottedAtLaurel! The gym was packed for Bingo!
