Rachel House Staff, Volunteers, and Ambassadors took shifts praying during 40 Days for Life in front of the Overland Park, Kansas abortion clinic. Through the ministry of 40 Days for Life 17,900 lives have been saved, 211 abortion workers have quit, and 107 abortion centers closed. Celebrating all the lives that will be rescued from the power of PRAYER!

A big thank you to Grace Bible Church in Independence for putting together New Mom Care Packages for our clients. When a woman finds out she is pregnant, we offer her an ultrasound, and we invite her to return to Rachel House for an appointment where she can learn about the many resources we can offer her throughout her pregnancy. A large number of women who come for that Resource Appointment enroll in our 20-week education program, where they learn about how to have a heal...thy pregnancy, labor and delivery, and parenting skills. As an incentive, we offer those who come for that appointment a nice tote bag filled with wonderful things just for them. We bless these moms with a New Mom Care Package. We also give a similar gift for dads and we call them Dad Bags. These bags are given to the fathers while they are in the Fatherhood Education program. Mission PreBorn has generously granted Independence and Lee's Summit locations with new ultrasound machines. These machines offer ease of use and the ability to adjust to full screen, which allows our clients to visualize their baby easier. Clients are more likely to see their baby's heartbeat at an earlier gestation age. We are able to provide more enhanced images and sound quality. Below is a picture of a baby at 8 weeks from the new ultrasound machine.
