Here is another sweet card we received this week--- "To Preferred Hospice - especially Mendy, Brittany, and Matt, Words cannot express how appreciative we are for all of you for the care, compassion, dignity, and respect with which you extended to my parents as they were called home. I can only imagine the incredible amount of strength, compassion, dignity, and respect that you are all blessed with in being with the family as their loved one ends their life journey. ... I take comfort in knowing that mom and dad are together and are at peace. I cannot begin to say thank you enough - thank you for caring for my parents, thank you for caring for me, thank you for the respect, dignity, care, compassion, and love that you bestowed on both mom and dad as they took their last breath. Thank you for keeping them comfortable, and thank you for being my emotional support at that moment. You are all so special to me and I will be forever grateful to each and every one of you." We are so grateful for the opportunity to care for those in need in our community!

Preferred Hospice of Rolla continues to grow! We are looking to add to our nursing team with full-time and PRN staff. We have positions for RNs and LPNs. Hospice is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have as a nurse! There are moments of sadness, but there is way more love and appreciation and job satisfaction! Hourly rate dependent upon experience and years in the nursing field. Mileage reimbursement. Benefits available for full-time. The Preferred Hospice office will be closed Friday in observance of New Years Day. As always we will have nurses on call 24/7 for emergencies throughout the entire weekend, and we will resume normal business hours Monday at 8 AM. We hope everyone has a safe and festive new years celebration! We look forward to continuing to serve our communities in 2021!

So proud of our Rolla team!! They sponsored a family in need and were able to deliver food and gifts today! Our staff used their own money to provide this gesture of Christmas love today! We love taking care of patients and giving back to the communities we serve!
