We have a make and take craft at the Creation Station (located in the Visitor Center) and life-sized board games at the North Pole barn. Don't forget our festival policies were updated December 1, 2020. Advanced tickets are required; no tickets sold at the door. Tickets are date-specific and non-exchangeable. Eat dinner with us! The Evergreen Eatery (located in the Visitor Center) will be open 4-8 p.m. during Festival of Lights: Enchantment. Fuel up with hot, seasonal soups and sweet and savory treats. (Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available!) Festival of Lights: Enchantment is open Thursday-Sunday, 4-10 p.m., November 13, 2020-January 3, 2021. In the Education Building (located in the Children’s Garden) visitors can enjoy two life-sized board games and an additional holiday craft. In just 8 days, the Kansas City Ballet will help us open Festival of Lights: Enchantment. Dancers will perform a brief and exciting medley of dance, including experts from Devon Carney’s The Nutcracker alongside new holiday-themed jazzy numbers. On Fridays and Saturdays between November 27 and December 19, deliver your holiday wish lists to Santa in a festively transformed corncrib in the Children’s Garden, where he will be posing for photos. Our favorite time of year is just 10 days away! Join us Thursday-Sunday, 4-10 p.m., for Festival of Lights: Enchantment. Powell Gardens’ holiday tradition is illuminated by Evergy and back for its fourth year. Festival goers will walk a mile-long path spread out over 25 acres through the Gardens featuring a variety of immersive light displays. (The path is ADA compliant, with shorter options available.) More than 20 miles of holidays lights comprise installations that highl...ight the natural form of Powell Gardens’ tree collection, show off the exceptional landscape design of the Gardens, and transport visitors to enchanted wonderlands, with plenty of Instagram and holiday card-worthy photo stops along the way. Good news: Our front entrance project is moving right along! This week, a special detail will be added to the new structure. (We'll share soon!) Other news: The Gardens will be closed today and tomorrow (Tuesday, November 3rd and Wednesday, November 4th) to accommodate the next step in the project.
