Off the Chain Rescue and Outreach was a dream of mine however since becoming the manager of a local shelter and really putting my focus into that we have decided to focus on the dogs and cats that our shelter can not fit in and put this page and cause to good use by posting animals of Polk County Missouri and surrounding counties with little to no resources. Sadly Polk County just does not have the resources to support the original dream (however I do have some new ideas comi...ng soon) I had for OTCR&O as well as PCHS which has been around since 1991. Living in rural Missouri with high poverty, few resources and plenty of ignorance we need help seeking rescue for the dogs we can not help! While the PCHS staff does as much as physically and financially able to do so we just can't keep up! Please share this page with crossposters! The animals posted for rescue are rescue ONLY. They will not be available to individuals. Only animals posted for adoption from licensed rescues will be allowed to be posted for adoption to individuals. Rescues are responsible for screening process of adopters.
