Diagnostic Imaging Director Todd Fine recently announced that Joe Heathman has passed his cardiac registration and is now a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. Cardiac sonographers perform echocardiograms, or ultrasound imaging, to evaluate various aspects of the heart’s condition: such as chamber size, valve function and blood flow. They review patient files and must be familiar with basic cardiac conditions in order to recognize and identify possible abnormalities in the heart. Heathman’s advanced certification will go a long way in helping patients gain a more accurate picture of their heart health.

Congratulations go to one of the teams sponsored by First National Bank at this year's NRMC Golf Classic. These men took first place in the Championship Flight.
