Nixa Parks and Recreation

It's time to register for soccer! For more information and to register call 725.5486, stop by The X Center, or visit nixaparks.com. Recreational Soccer is geared towards introducing and fostering interest in soccer. Emphasis is on learning the game and having fun. The league is open to boys and girls; it is comprised of 4 different divisions, 3&4 years old, 5 years old and Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and 6th 8th grade. Games for every division are on Saturda...y morning/afternoons. Season Dates: Saturday, March 20th - May 1st. Open To: The program is open to boys and girls ages 3 years old (must be 3 by March 20th) to 8th grade. Location: Games are played at McCauley Park and practices are held at Rotary Park. Fees: Members $42, Nixa Residents $47, Non-Residents $55. Registration: Ends February 17th, 2021. *Late registration from February 18th - 21st with a $10 additional late fee.

Here are photos of the completed parking lot at the dog park! The next steps on the dog park will be fencing for the small dog and large dog areas and concrete work.

Registration for Winter Break Camp ends December 22nd. For more information and to register call 725.5486, stop by The X Center, or visit nixaparks.com While Nixa is out of school for Winter Breakjoin us, at The X Center, for a camp full of fun and awesome activities. Registration ends December 22nd. Camp will be held Monday - Friday, December 23rd - December 31st (with the exception of December 25th and January 1st), from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. The program is open to ages 5 years old to 6th grade. The fees for the program are as follows (per day): Members $15, Nixa Residents $20, Non-Residents $25. Please send a sack lunch and two snacks each day.

Wednesday's (12-9) Yoga at 10:10 am will be Restorative Yoga. We hope to see you there!

On Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, The X Center will be closed. On Friday, November 27th, The X Center will be open from 8:30 am to 5 pm (no group ex classes and no tot drop). The X Center will resume normal business hours on Saturday, November 28th. Happy Thanksgiving!
