Because of you.. Thanks to the loving "Christmas Angels" who adopted the MCE kids this year! The Christmas Joy 2021 celebration w/KC Wolf, St. Joe Stixx, the MCE Angel Dancers and the carolers sent out a powerful expression of hope! We were able to give away 3 gifts to each youth, movie and bowling gift certificates and will also pass out Fun Run passes, scarves, hats & gloves over the next 2 weeks. Our youth were in tears over your compassion and love for them. Kudos to Fast...gas for the scrumptious cookies and for the traditional Christmas Story booklets, and to Little Caesar's that provided pizzas that kept everyone's bellies full. So many individuals were behind the scenes- wrapping, cleaning, decorating and praying that the depressed, sick and discouraged would be reminded that their life has purpose and value. We were elated that the spirit of Christmas came forth in an exuberant way for the givers and for the receivers! May this Joy, Hope, Love and Peace last all year long! We appreciate each of you that took the time out of your "busy-ness" to embrace the mission and spread God's love! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! P.s. For those that are still wanting to make a year-end tax deductible gift- MCE is raising money to invest in 3-4 vehicles to help transport youth in the after school learning and performing arts academy. We have plans to go to a 5 day-a-week program in the New Year. We also need donors and sponsors to purchase a large trailer to haul up to 35+ drums, uniforms and equipment. Special thanks to Chick-fil-A St. Joseph & owner Ruthie Seitz for the nomination and for the countless hours volunteered in making this a reality! Hundreds of youth will be helped in tutoring, counseling, preforming arts and mentoring! We are looking forward to having adequate transportation to engage our ...young geniuses!!
