It is with an extremely heavy heart that the Lincoln County Fair Board has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Lincoln County Fair. This includes the Fair Parade. More information will be coming soon as we discuss options of closed livestock shows, 4-H/FFA exhibits and more. Thank you for your continued support of the Lincoln County Fair!! The Lincoln County Fair Board has lost one of our beloved members, Charlie "C.P." Witte. C.P. was always willing to lend a hand to any area of the fair. His laugh and sense of humor along with his love of the fair will always be remembered. Our sympathy to the Witte family. RIP Charlie.

Our 4-H/FFA exihibitors can best be described as the heart of the Lincoln County Fair. These exhibitors, and the Fair itself, have been extremely blessed by the tremendous support of many individuals and businesses through contributions of time, talent and treasure. While we were not able to provide the traditional Fair experience this year, the Lincoln County Fair Livestock Committee was able to offer ‘FUN’ shows for any market livestock exhibitors that were still interest...ed in participating. Many questions were asked regarding the Annual Livestock auction. We cannot gather in person but can offer an online auction setup for each of the exhibitors. Follow the link below and you will be able to sort by animals/names/etc. Peoples Bank & Trust has also set up a fund allowing those interested in a general contribution - donations here will be divided equally between all exhibitors. Given the decision to cancel the 2020 Lincoln County Fair, the Livestock Committee has decided to offer a ‘FUN’ show for any market livestock exhibitors choosing to participate. Only exhibitors who weighed in animals for the county fair will be allowed to exhibit. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded. If there is not enough participation in any given specie, the show may be cancelled at the discretion of the Livestock Committee. T-Shirts will not be distributed. Admissio...n to shows is free. Please note: There will NOT be an auction for any of the animals shown. For those wishing to participate, registration opens May 11 and will run through May 29, 2020 at 3pm at the following site: http://lincmoml.fairmanager.com The tentative show schedule is as follows: Poultry Information will be forthcoming Rabbitscheck in on Tuesday, July 14 at 7am; Show on Tuesday July 14 at 8am. Hogsweigh in on Monday, July 13, hogs must be to the barn by between 6 and 8pm; Show on Tuesday, July 14 at 6pm. Hogs must be removed from the fairgrounds Tuesday evening. Steersweigh in on Wednesday, July 15, steers must be to the barn between 8 and 10am; Show on Wednesday, July 15 at 6pm. Steers must be removed from the fairgrounds Wednesday evening. Lambsweigh in on Thursday, July 16 (time TBD); Show on Thursday, July 16 at 6pm. Lambs must be removed from the fairgrounds Thursday evening. While the barns will be open and water will be turned on, all animals are the sole responsibility of the exhibitors.

The deadline for Missouri State Fair exhibitor swine DNA cards to be postmarked has been extended to June 15. This extension is to assist exhibitors with meetin...g the requirements of the DNA cards. Other important dates and deadlines for exhibitors will continued to be reviewed and modified if necessary as situations change. Information will be posted on the Fair’s website, mostatefair.com, as it becomes available.
