While we are relaxing, on April 4, 1804, Clark wrote,"all day Packing Provision Settled account with the Contractor for all the Issues to the first of the month & what Provisions he had furnished hard wind and rain last night, Mr Crawford sent his Canoo by...speach to the Sioux and Iowoy Indians."
