Little Buddies Power Wheels Racing At I-35 Speedway

PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES 2021 Little Buddies Power Wheel Racing Series Rules. 6 Volt : This is a beginner class. Absolutely no modifications may be done to the body, chassis, tires/wheels and or gearbox motors. You may replace battery with an original replacement battery and it must remain in stock location.... 12 Volt : This is an intermediate class. New participants may choose to start at rear of field. This is a 5 MPH MAX class. Tires/Wheels : You may only run the tire/wheel combo that came factory for your model Power Wheel. If drive wheels have become worn smooth from concrete travel, you may apply one round of traction tape. GearMotors : You may only run the gearmotor that came factory in your Power Wheel. If you must buy a replacement, we will need copy of packing slip and will check motors over to verify it is the right model. Body : Unaltered bodies only. You may add a modified body to give your Power Wheel more of a racecar look over the top of original body. Just remember that it will add more weight and possibly slow you down. Battery : Original battery or 190 CCA max lawn mower battery. If running a lawn mower battery, you may choose to move it to a different location. Make sure it is easily accessible and securely fastened. Use the battery connection from original battery to make a connection harness to the lawn mower battery. This makes it easy for an official to disconnect power in the event of an emergency. 5 MPH MAX Power Wheels. Most all Power Wheels on the market are 5 MPH max speed. There are a few out there that run 6 MPH and we have those models written down. We kindly ask that the 6 MPH Power Wheels not be brought to the track. Sign in and drawing numbers : Krista will be located near the grandstand gate entrance during every Power Wheel race. All participants must be signed in before the last heat race in order to draw their starting spot. Starting positions are determined by drawing a number from container. Number 1 starts on pole and number 20 is at rear. Anyone not signed up by the last heat race will start at the rear of field or may not compete that evening.
