As Missouri continues with their recovery plan, our campground remains OPEN with restrictions. We continue to encourage social distancing and our public areas, including the office, playground, and restrooms remain closed. The shelter houses are open but a safe distance should be kept among non-related groups. We want to ensure that our guests can enjoy camping and still remain safe. For those of you planning to camp with us Memorial Day Weekend, Danny and I are sad to infor...m you that we have decided it is best to cancel our Annual Wing Event. It is our responsibility to help protect our guests; therefore, modifications to our plans for this year have been altered. We are still evaluating if we can open our swim beach, as currently most recommendations are to keep swimming areas closed. Therefore, we may not allow swimming Memorial Day Weekend. The good news is that we are OPEN and our guests have been able to have a great time camping, cooking out, fishing, and enjoying their campfires even with the few restrictions. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you soon!
I know that everyone is anxious to be outside and get your campers on the road. Therefore, I would like to provide a few updates regarding our campground. We are open and accepting reservations; however, there are restrictions in place. Per the Lieutenant Governor's office, we must abide by all laws related to social distancing. Our restrooms, playground, shelter houses, and the office is closed for now. Campground customers must remain in their sites and must abide by all g...roup and social distancing guidelines. No tents, only self-enclosed campers at this time. Only cash and checks accepted since the office is closed. I know this sounds restrictive, but it is for your safety and still allows you to venture outdoors, take a walk, and enjoy some relaxation. If you have any questions, feel free to call us at 573-822-7070. Stay safe and we hope to see you all soon! I will continue to post as we are given additional information. Thanks - Dan & Ronna See more
