The Labor Day weekend was very hot and provided ample opportunities for fully enjoying all of the options that the "Best Recreational Lake" in the nation has to offer. It is indeed why we choose to name our vacation rental, next door to our home, as "WhataVacation".

Guests who stay at WhataVacation vacation rental during the week are normally treated to a great show by the Air Force A-10 Thunderbolts on the Gravois Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. Commonly called the Warthog, it is a CAS (close air support) and performs low altitude missions. On their return to Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster the Warthogs often follow the Gravois Arm and sometimes at low altitude. The first Warthog is normally at the lowest altitude with the wing man trailing at a higher altitude. They are difficult to hear them coming, so the camera barely is able to catch the second Warthog. That is the case in this video, catching only the 2nd Warthog, slighlty higher than the first but still quite low.
