FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 9, 2020 For More Information Contact: Ashley Young... Assistant City Manager 660.627.1224 MASK UP THIS WINTER! (Kirksville, MO) As winter approaches, COVID-19 continues to spread throughout our community in conjunction with the cold and flu season. While a vaccine is on the horizon, wearing a mask is a simple thing you can do NOW to help slow the spread. So, this winter, consider the health of your co-workers, neighbors, friends, and family, and #MaskUpKirksville to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community! Mask Up #Kirksville is the City’s public information campaign to encourage residents and visitors to help slow the spread of COVID-19. As a reminder, the City Council approved an ordinance mandating face covering at indoor and outdoor public spaces and places of public accommodation, with some exceptions, throughout the city to slow and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
