Y’all! It’s my absolute favorite time of the year!! I can’t wait to see everyone dressed up!!!

DRESS UP DAY AT DANCE Students wear your Halloween costumes to class! We will have treats, play games and get our spooky dance on!

FB FRIENDS, I NEED YOU! As you know, DANCE is my passion, and the studio is my mission field! Not only do I want my kiddos to know Jesus, I also want them to have an outlet and an activity just for them; a time and place where they can escape everything in the world and focus on nothing but enjoying time dancing with their friends, music and expressing themselves! That being said, I am looking to scholarship a student in need this year so they may have this amazing opportunity! Everything will remain anonymous, the student as well as those who choose to donate to the scholarship. STUDENT SPOTLIGHT!! Meet Brylinn! Brylinn is 8 years old and loves the color purple! She enjoys being outside playing with her dog. When she grows up she wants to be a nurse.... We have watched Brylinn grow from a tiny tot into the beautiful young lady and dancer she is today!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT Meet Presley! Presley has grown up in the studio watching her big sister go to classes. She is three now and it’s finally her turn to be the student! Presley’s favorite color is pink! She loves to be outside on her swing. When she grows up she wants to be Elsa! We love having Presley in class! Now her and sister can dance together!

KKDA wrapped up our comp season this weekend in KC! Lots of memories made, lots of laughs had, and we brought home some great overall awards! Spice World- 5th overall junior small group Austin Powers- 3rd overall senior duo/trio Can’t Hurry Love- 1st overall junior duo/trio ... Best Friend- 1st overall senior duo/trio Rainbow- 2nd overall senior solo Studio Superlative Award-Fun and Engaging Costume Award of Distinction- Toxic World Tour Ready- Spice World I’m so proud of the work put in and the consistent improvement these dancers make! Also, our behind the scenes mommas need to be recognized! We have the best dance moms! They are team players all around, always making sure all kiddos are taken care of and ready to go and showing the studio support! They are my best friends, my biggest cheerleaders and some of the greatest women I know! They are truly the BEST!!

Kara’s Kicks has been a part of Calvary of Neosho’s Easter celebrations for many years now. It’s one of mine and my students favorite things to be a part of! It’s a blessing to witness talents God has given individuals being used to worship and proclaim the gospel, even more so when it is my own dancers. STUDENT SPOTLIGHT! Meet Jassy! Jassy is 4 years old and has just started her first year at KKDA. She loves to ride her bike and play tag outside! Pink and purple are her favorite colors. When Jassy grows up she wants to be a dancer! We are excited to welcome Jassy into the KKDA family and looking forward to watching her grow into a beautiful dancer!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT! Meet Laynie! Laynie is 6 years old and is in her first year here at KKDA! Her favorite colors are pink and purple. She loves to be outside playing and checking on her chickens. When she grows up she wants to be a kindergarten teacher. We love watching Laynie learn and grow in her dance training!

We love sharing the studio and stage with our friends at Showtime Dance Company! SHAKE YOUR GROOVE THING, our 70’s roller disco dance, is so fun to watch. You can’t help but have a big goofy grin on your face while watching! Dance brings so much joy!!

Dress rehearsal is a wrap! I am SO extremely proud of my KKDA dancers. They have worked some really long weeks in preparation for competition! Can’t wait for them to take the stage next weekend!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT Meet Kylie! Kylie is 8 years old and is in her second year of dance and acro. She loves dance because she can learn new things. Her favorite thing to do is a backbend. When she grows up she wants to be a professional ballet dancer. Kylie always has a smile on her face and gives her very best effort at everything she does!

I am extremely humbled to be featured in the MC Press! I hope that if you take anything away from this article is that we are more than just a dance studio. We are a family, that loves and cares for each other inside and outside of the studio.
