Well due to unfortunate incidents, I was delayed in getting my new engine built. I have been trying to get it back for over a year. Hoping that the parts were still there. It took me a long time to get it paid for cause I wanted it done by the best guy around. I managed to get my block and the parts I supplied for the build. The bad parts are the fact the rotating assembly was bought and balanced the head job was halfway done and the hardware for the second head is now missi...ng. I have sat by for too long. I am going to have to replace these parts and machine work again and it will probably be another two years before I will have that paid for. I will gladly accept rotating assembly pieces that are still usable. Balanced rotating assembly - (4.165 bore 3.75 stroke mahle dome pistons, 6.000 rods, forged eagle crank) Rings, bearings, pushrods, headbolts, mls gaskets, and the valvetrain for one head are all missing still. Plus the machine work on that head. If you would like to help get me going again, please feel.free to message me. If you plan on giving me grief don't bother commenting or pm'ing.

New trailer is getting close. Putting some coating on the new wood decking and she be ready to go. Only thing else I really want to do is upgrade the Jack to a Weld on post style.

Day 539: Finally landed a good deal on another 400 small block 509 casting nickel block. Came with some LT1 350 heads. Okay so it was a really good deal!!! Tore into it today and have it almost ready to put in storage for awhile. This is going to be a super light crank, long rod, 15:1 compression dome piston, head studded block, full roller, Aluminum head with big ass valves, high revving 377 from hell when it gets done. Working on getting the driveshafts serviced and shields... made. Probably keeping the old front shaft and rear for backups. Tim Woods Driveshafts gave me a really good price the other day. On a crappy note the windshield frame is rotten on bottom. Found that out when I pulled the busted windshield out. Probably ordering a new frame and having Lexan cut for it. It's still Progress!!!

Well after fighting with it for a few days and waiting on parts, I managed to Fab and weld in the new steering. She seems to work good and feels pretty comfortable when I'm sitting in the Jeep. About time to start on the wiring disaster for the new switches. Thinking about moving the guages and throwing out the dash to save a little weight and make.it easier to clean. We'll see what happens....

Managed to get a few more things done this weekend. Installed the new switches in their new home. Finished laying out the new steering. Going to try to weld the steering in place Monday evening. Then start on moving wiring around and sorting it out so I can have the switches done. Then moving to the drivetrain and hub bearings....

Been awhile since I've done an update. Lost count on the days but we're working on month 17...... Anyways ordered filters, oil, parts for the steering, and started changing hub bearings. Work space got cluttered from the winter months but it's starting to look like a shop again. Motor is in final stages of the build but due to unforeseen health problems I'll have to wait a little longer to have it finished. Still need an electric water pump, a new steering wheel, finish stripping the old paint, wire the new switch box, buy new guages possibly, still need to have the rebuild kit done on the tranny, and finish u-joint shields. Will be racing soon enough. Just want it right the first time so I can go put a spankin' on them boys!
