Geo’s Cheese is turning 1 this week! We have some exciting giveaways and deals planned for you this week so stay tuned! To kick off the week we’d like to introduce Geo’s owner Spencer Woodward. Spencer opened Geo’s Cheese in Waldo in April 2020. Although in the thick of a global pandemic, we have been blown away by the KC community’s support during the past year. Born and raised in Kansas City, Spencer has been in the cheese business for 15 years. He has traveled the wor...ld to source and sell every type of cheese imaginable and now imports the best of them to Geo’s. You’ll often find Spencer greeting customers with a smile and constantly improving the shop. Spencer’s longtime friend Gary Seabaugh is often greeting guests with just as big of a smile (and laugh!). NEW CHEESES in stock We’ve recently gotten a plethora of new imported cheese varietals in stock at Geo’s in Waldo! And almost as cool as these cheeses- they come in our new resealable bag packaging! So you can snack and re-seal your cheese for months. They come in all shapes and sizes, and now smaller blocks so you can try multiple varietals. New cheeses include: 1 & 2 year aged Cheddar... Manchego 3 year Smoked Gouda Artigiano Cheddar Gruyere with Mango Habanero aged Edam Open until 6pm tonight, and so is our patio!

We had such a grate time at our virtual Wine and Cheese workshop last night with @thepitchkc! @clairethecharcutier taught us her 3 key tips to make any charcuterie board a work of art, and Scott taught us how to pick the perfect wine from @brooksidewineandspirits. WINE CHEESE, is there anything better?? The Pitch KC is taking its best of Kansas City celebrations online this year with a week full of virtual events. Geo’s Cheese is happy to be a part of it with a wine and cheese pairing party on Wednesday, October 28th! Join Claire the Charcutier of Geo’s Cheese and Scott Finley of Bronco Wine Co. for this fun evening!... Claire will demonstrate the 3 key elements to a deliciously beautiful cheese board and Scott will describe the flavors of wine interacting with the cheeses.
