Michael Kiernan, my friend and former boss, passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday from a brain tumor. He was truly a larger than life character, one of gods prototypes that somehow escaped the factory. If you've ever met him you know... You will be missed terribly by many people. Until we meet again my friend, ride on. - Dan Murphy... Today we celebrate Michaels memory with a group ride. The ride starts in Maplewood at 6pm. Participants should gather at the southwest corner of the Maplewood Schnuck's parking lot. Route will be as follows: Starting from the intersection of Sutton and Manchester traveling down Manchester Rd. to make a right onto Marshall Ave... From there we will ride to Rule Ave then up Lowery Ave to make a loop onto Moller Ave. Those who would like to stop and visit at Michaels home are welcome to do so and or continue on to Schlafly which marks the end of the route. Please be respectful of traffic rules, neighbors, strangers, friends, and wear your mask!
