Fitness Plus Dexter

The planned reopening of Fitness Plus, inside Saint Francis Medical Center, has been further delayed due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases within Cape Girardeau and the surrounding counties. Fitness Plus Dexter will remain closed at this time as well. Since our fitness center is integrated within our healthcare facility, it provides us with many unique opportunities, such as on-site cardiac rehabilitation and outpatient therapy. Being on campus, however, it also makes ...it difficult to open the doors to the community, especially during times like these. Our primary focus is safety - yours and ours, so it is our responsibility to keep our patients and colleagues safe and not take any unnecessary risks. We cannot predict when the virus will subside. When we do reopen, and we plan to, we will welcome you back with open arms. Remember to wear a mask, wash your hands, socially distance and stay healthy!

At this time, Fitness Plus Dexter will remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are closely evaluating the situation and will keep you informed of any changes. The Cape Girardeau facility has a tentative plan to open on June 1. You are welcome to use the facility in Cape Girardeau at no charge until there is a decision made regarding the reopening of the Dexter facility.
