Rabbi is doing much better. Thank you for all your concern, emails, private messages, and most of all, your prayers. He was diagnosed with thrombophlebitis and cellulitis of the leg. Rabbi is in the ER with possible phlebitis and is very ill with a high temperature. Cancelling services tonight but will hold services tomorrow with Geoff Chambers. Should be very anointed. No Chanukah party tomorrow night-will reschedule that for next Shabbat when we hold our regular oneg. White elephant gifts, food, driedle, etc. Will keep you posted. Love to all. There are so many people hurting. You need this right now. Please read this prayerfully to the end. Golda Psalm 91... (NIV) Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a] I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, The Lord is my refuge, and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Detail vacuumed the synagogue yesterday. Reorganized the kitchen. Swept. Did some much needed touch up painting. Got the music for Erev Shabbat into the Media Shout system. Cleaned house. ... Did laundry. Bought an ebook to read on my NOOK. Funny, I'm getting tons of large green tomatoes on the vines now that the weather has cooled. So last night made fried green tomatoes. Didn't care for them much. Don't get all the attraction. Made chicken and dressing for Rabbi. Another very good day. So happy to have my Sundays. Husband was so sweet. He had flowers delivered to the door on Friday. They were lovely! And a surprise. I've done my notes for this Erev Shabbat's message. Now I just have to place all the scriptures into the system and Friday will be ready! Love getting prepared early! Can't wait for Erev Shabbat. I feel like I live for the weekends!

Our congregation held a special pot luck today to honor and show appreciation to my sweet husband. There was good food, deserts, a special decorated cake, cards, and lots of shiny balloons. He was so blessed ! I want to thank everyone who did this for my husband today. He needed this. He does so much. It's good to know it's noticed. You guys are the greatest! Rebbetzin

Today is the first full day of the month of Cheshvan-it started at sunset last night. On calendars, you will see it listed as today, but only because this is the first full "day" of the month. It, as all God's calendar days, began at sunset. Look forward to this month. It will be full of great things for God's people who are looking for the right things in the right places. God bless each of you this day. I pray abundant peace and blessings in your homes and guidance in your lives, for spiritual awakenings in your hearts, and for ears to hear and a humble heart to receive. Bo Yeshua!

The new month of Cheshvan starts tomorrow night. We will meet at the synagogue at 6:15 to usher in the new month. This also means we will have oneg on Shabbat! Love all! Golda

I'm so excited about tonight's lesson. There are signs in the sky of our Messiah's soon appearance. Come and learn what you can expect to see in the near future. Signs of His Coming! Tonight 7:00. And on Monday night at 7:00 we will observe Shmonie Atzeret and Simchat Torah. The joy of the Torah.
